Misty recently joined the Stellar Vision team. She is originally from Houghton, Michigan and relocated to Omro when her husband’s new job brought her family to the Fox Valley. Misty has seven years of experience in the optical field and has a great flair for eyewear style. When she is not here at Stellar Vision, you might find her outdoors biking or hiking with her husband Micah, daughter Felicity and son Benjamin. Misty also enjoys cross-country skiing in the winter and kayaking in the summer. She is looking forward to spending time with her family exploring all of the great events, recreation and attractions our area has to offer.
Who has the coolest eyewear?
Johnny Depp, for sure has the coolest eyewear. He is not afraid to wear new and different styles, and his selections always complement his features, which are hot even without his glasses!
If you could change any celebrity's eyeglasses, who would that be?
David Letterman. He has looked the same since I was 8 years old. It’s definitely time for a change.
Of the many brands we carry at Stellar Vision, which is your personal favorite?
I like and recommend Fysh eyewear to many of our customers because they have a lot of bold colors and flashy temple designs, without being over the top. Also, they fit most people very well and look great.
What eyewear trends do you see for this spring and summer?
I think we will see more celebs and other folks with the larger plastic frames that cover more of the area around the eye. And lots more color—the bright colors this year will include oranges, yellows and bright blues.
