Anti-Reflective coatings are among the most popular add-ons for lenses. They can dramatically improve the look and comfort of your glasses by minimizing reflected light that might otherwise appear on the lens. Anti-reflective is an excellent choice, if you experience difficulty driving at night, or experience glare from overhead lights, and eye fatigue caused by computer screens. Anti-reflective lenses will also enhance the visual performance of your glasses allowing for more light transmission.

Also known as an adjustable tint lens or Transition lens. Chemical coatings or special internal changes allow them to quickly darken in bright conditions, and return to normal in ordinary indoor lighting or at night. These lenses are convenient for people who spend a lot of time outdoors.

An excellent choice in sun wear. Polaroid lenses will provide you with better vision by improving depth perception, images are sharper and outdoor activities are more enjoyable. Polaroid lenses reduce glare significantly especially while driving. Surfaces such as windows, automobiles, dashboards, snow, water, and buildings all create glare in sunlight. There is no substitution for quality, polarized lenses.

Polycarbonate is a type of shatter resistant plastic offering a thinner and lighter alternative to standard plastic lenses. Polycarbonate lenses offer ultra violet protection and scratch protection already inherent in the lens. At Stellar Vision, we highly recommend Trivex or polycarbonate lenses for children because of their safety properties.

Hi index lenses are thinner and lighter than standard plastic and also offer ultra violet protection, which is inherent in the lens material. Hi index is a great choice for higher prescriptions.
