Amy has lots of eyeglasses, too, six pairs to be exact with five
more pairs of sunglasses. How fun is that? Amy’s special talent
is that she is very multi-talented. In her nine years in the eyecare
field, she’s learned how to do a little bit of everything so she can
handle almost anything a customer may need or want. She really
enjoys helping people pick out their frames because they are
such an important accessory. Amy is certified by the American
Board of Opticianry. She is currently trying to learn sign language
but freely admits she doesn’t totally have it down quite yet. She
can do Me, Tarzan, You, Jane incredibly well though. She has no
desire to design her own glasses because she’s pretty impressed
with all of the styles that the actual designers come out with now.
If Amy were trapped on a desert island she would need to have
one pair of clear and another pair of sunglasses with her so she
could clearly see her fellow “trapee”, Luke Skywalker. Hey, the force is with him and Amy likes a
guy with a little moxie mixed with superpowers. Amy’s eyeglasses tell the world that she keeps
up with the styles and especially loves bold, classic frames.
Who has the coolest eyeglasses in 2010?
All the celebrities wearing the Ray-Ban Wayfarer. I love that the trend is still going. Especially the fun colors.
If you could change any celebrity's eyeglasses in 2010, who would that be?
Tina Fey. Although she looks great with her style of black plastic frame, I would love to see her try something different. Maybe some color!
Of all the many brands we carry at Stellar Vision, what is your personal favorite?
Nicole Miller. I like the classic look with an edge. Over the years, I've had several pairs from their line. They do a great job of staying current.
What eyewear trends do you see for this spring and summer?
Bold chunky looks with a lot of color for women. For men, the chunky vintage look. Big sunglasses for women and men.
